The Central Michigan Chippewas football program is the intercollegiate football team for Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. The Chippewas compete in the Mid-American Conference (MAC). Central Michigan has had a football team since the 1896 season. CMU has the 30th highest overall winning percentage of programs playing in NCAA Division I.
